National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (also called the NDIS) is a new and innovative way of providing support to people with disability their families and carers. The NDIS will provide all Australians under the age of 65 with a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable and necessary supports they need. The NDIS is designed to give the choice to you so that you are in control of your services and outcomes.

At Footprints, we believe in empowerment, independence , strength and choice. With the introduction of NDIS, Footprints will continue to ensure people with disability and their carers get the support they need. We believe everyone has the right to make decisions about their own life, and we will continue to work to empower you and support you to reach your goals. The NDIS will put more control and decision-making  in your hands, and Footprints as an NDIS provider, can work alongside you to support you to meet your needs and goals.

Footprints is a registered NDIS provider. The NDIS will be available across greater Brisbane from 1st July 2018. Please contact the Community Care and Disability Service Manager, or the Mental Health Manager on 07 3252 3488 for enquiries.
